Take a vow of worship after cleaning the house early in the morning and dealing with bathing. Make a Vyasa-peeth by laying a white cloth on a clean place. After installing the idol of Guru, offer sandalwood, roli, flowers, fruits and prasad to him. After this, by remembering Vyasji, Shukdevji, Shankaracharyaji etc. Gurus should be invoked. After this, the mantra ‘Guruparamparasiddhayarthm Vyasapoojan Karishye’ should be chanted.
Significance of Guru Purnima
